WHAT IS CBD?

A Byproduct from a plant called ‘Cannabis Sativa’. CBS is short or ‘CANNABIDIOL’.

Sourced from both “HEMP” and “MARIJUANA”, two common terms for cannabis sativa.

Does not get you high (non-intoxicating) like THC does, although it does have mood altering (psychoactive) benefits.

One of hundreds of plant-derived compounds known as phytocannabinoids.

Found primarily in the flowers and leaves of the plant. (NOT SEEDS)

Extracted from the plant and infused into tinctures, edibles, and topicals.

Clinical research has begun for its effects anxiety, cognition, movement disorders and pain management.

Thanks to the 2018 farm bill, hemp-deprived CBD is legal in all fifty states.

CBD and THC

CBD vs THC
Both CBD and THC have exact same molecular structure: 21 Carbon Atoms, 30 Hydrogen Atoms, and 2 Oxygen Atoms. A slight difference in how the atoms are arranged accounts for the differing effects on your body.

HEMP SEED OIL and CBD OIL

Hemp Seed Oil
Hemp Seed Oil, sometimes referred to as cannabis sativa seed oil, is perfectly good seed oil that’s high in antioxidants, omega-3 and 6-fatty acids, but contains trace amounts of CBD. Sometimes none at all. The seeds go through a cold-pressing process to be used for many everyday products.
Hemp genetics contain a unique combination of phytocannabinoids; It’s more than just CBD, they also includes naturally occurring terpenes, flavonoids, and other valuable hemp compounds that works synergistically to heighten positive effects, sometimes referred to as the “entourage effect”.
